Seriously, everything is better fresh. I’m eating chocolate from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate company where they actually make the chocolate in house. I have never tasted better chocolate in all my life and it is amazing! It’s so soft and full of flavour and I just want more and more. Mmmm, I’ll never go back to Lindt after this!
So, the two girls who came over are absolutely adorable. Not that I didn’t expect them to be. But I mean, I adore them, and want to spend time with them. And they are very clear about what they want to do while in town which is Shop. That makes things so much easier because you can think of good shopping centres or malls for them to go to so that they can get exactly what they want.
When they’re around, they’re helpful and social which makes a huge difference. Before going to bed, my cousin comes to my room and spends a couple of hours just chatting away before I get tired and send her back to her room.
The best part is that the first night I found out that she really likes makeup. So of course, we went up to my room and perused some of my collection. She looked through it and I gave her some things that she could take home with her. At times it was difficult to part with certain things but she’s so sweet and it’s the first time I met her, so I gave her my favourite mascara. She ended up leaving with a little box of makeup that I am sure she will use and LOVE, and that makes me so happy. Giving stuff away is fun - when you know that the person to whom you’re giving it will appreciate it as much as you did.
Spending $400 to fast is beyond ridiculous to me.
Perhaps for people with money to spend, that amount of money isn’t such a big deal.
Sigh. Probably.
my coworker said she should have donated money to a food organization.
i dunno, i mean it seems mean to judge the people you follow on here, but with the “fame balls” as gawker calls them- i guess they sometimes make it easy to be the subject of ridicule.

Lots of forms of dieting are very expensive. Jenny Craig has a $299 joining fee for example.
Nutrisystem, which my sister is on, costs money for food that seems quite regular, but it works!
This week means that there are a bunch of guests coming to stay with us which is great. I mean, it’s great because it means that something fun is going on, but what sucks is that they’re all coming at the same time and that some of them are coming on short notice. Stress!
Of course, this time we’re more prepared - I’ve stocked up on food of all kinds, and all I have to do is pick up more Diet Coke which is what I shall do later today. We’ve got tons of bread, eggs, milk, and snacks so that we’re not rushing out at the last minute to get more food. Thank goodness, I hope it all goes smoothly!
So a couple of weeks ago, I was a special makeup guest as part of this program for young girls. My job was to do their makeup, and because I have so much of it I decided to give a lot of my makeup away too!
A lot of the girls were super-shy and had never worn makeup before so it was fun to make them look all grown up. They were so cute and one of them couldn’t believe that she was getting some makeup to take home for free. It was so great, and I wish I was invited to do more things like that.
Best of all: it was all for a good job.
Damn right it won’t affect the consumer - the consumer doesn’t shop at the Gap!
the economy is taking a toll on many major brands, and this is just another example; gap is closing some of their baby gap and gapkids stores, along with their other subbrands. this change shouldn’t affect the consumer.

Anyone know the name/artist of this song I’m about to describe. I heard it on the radio today and can’t find it online. The only lyrics I remember are either “Dance on Dance on” or “Dance all dance all”. Here are some facts:
- It sounded like new wave music from 80’s but possibly 90’s
- Male singer, no females at all.
- Kind of monotone, no fancy vocals
- It probably had synthesizers
- This description couldn’t be more vague
